My dress was a classic fairytale ball gown. It was candlelight white, raw Italian silk, with a Basque waist and sweetheart neckline. The sleeves were off the shoulder. It had tiny embroidery that was just enough so that when I danced I sparkled. It also had a million tiny buttons up the back. I had a cathedral length veil bordered in silk ribbon along the edging. At the reception I took off the long layer but I kept on the waist-length layer.

I wore a tiara, of course! I had a necklace with one single pear shaped pearl dangling from a small diamond, and diamond earrings. My hair was done in an upside-down insideout French braid which then went up into my tiara where they made a pile of curls at the crown of my head. It was from "Beauty and the Beast" and I was so happy with it!
