I was unsure what I desired for my wedding dress, but I knew what I hated; lace appliqués, tulle, and bows. Mom made a special trip from Alaska to dress shop for one day. The pressure was on.

We were at the last store of our adventure and it seemed we would not find my dress. Exiting the shop we saw a dress on a mannequin. The sales-person referred to it as "The Millennium Gown." That was the only dress I tried on, and it was mine.

The dress is a princess tank dress with chapel train made out of white Italian satin. It has stunning beaded design of flowers and vines in pearl and iridescent bugle beads, feathering to the hem. A pearl bun-wrap headpiece and a ribbon-edged veil complimented the dress. The ensemble was contemporary, yet traditional, and made me feel like the princess bride of my dreams.
