When I went shopping for my dress I was not looking for nothing fancy. This was my second marriage, and I had already done the long train and puffy sleeves. Now it was time to make it simple.

I had gone shopping with my Mom. Our first and last stop was Macy's. I was looking for a dress without a train...those bustles get heavy! And I found one that I kept coming back to. It was the first one I tried on. But isn't it usually the first one?

This dress was it! Beautiful, simple and with no train. It was made of white satin. A-line, with beading and rose appliqués on the top of the dress. I especially loved the beaded criss cross in the back. And my mother's tears told me, I made the right choice.
