Reminiscent of regal days from the past, I selected a traditional, ivory silk shantung dress with a princess line bodice embellished with hand-beaded re-embroidered lace. It featured a scoop neckline and short sleeves with an empire waistline and bow at back waist. The skirt was A-line trimmed with beaded lace and a chapel length train. The beadwork extended from the front of the hem around to a delicate pattern on the train. It was just enough sparkle to add formality without being overpowering.

My headpiece was a heavy crown of Austrian crystals and pearls. It's intricate patterns formed floral shapes with crystal loops at the top. The veil was custom made using 144" wide bridal illusion gathered in the back to create a fountain effect. It consisted of two-tiers and was slightly longer than the traditional fingertip veil. To complete the look, I wore elbow length, diamond white silk gloves.
