Shortly after we were engaged, I had an incredibly vivid dream. I was lighting our unity candle, and the sleeve of my dress came to a lacy tapered point just above my hand, with small buttons on the underside of my wrist.
One month later while quilt shopping, I looked across the road and saw a bridal store I hadn't noticed before. In I went, without an appointment, and picked out several dresses to consider since they didn't kick me out the door! This was the first and last dress I tried, because I cried the moment I saw it on.
My dream came true in dulciana satin with alencon lace encircling the hem of the basque waist ballgown and semi-cathedral train, with a portrait neckline accenting my custom-made pearl and amethyst necklace. Sequin and pearl beading added just the right touch of detailing to complete my 'bridal glow' appearance!
